Tell us a litte bit about you and your company.

— I'm Steve Spinelli, from Boston, Massachusetts, and I do mobile, nightclub & mix show DJing, by covering all these types of venues it has allowed me to enjoy the best of these three worlds throughout the years.

In the '80s, I started out performing at house parties and school dances and then I got into small nightclubs. Over the years, I formed DJ Spinelli & Assoc. At that time, I started working in the more popular nightclubs in Boston which I still continue to do these days when not catering to private parties.

— Typically, I find, a wedding is booked 6 to 12 months in advance - which is more than enough time. It's not uncommon though, that some will try to book it 1 month or as far out as 2 years in advance. But, like any other service, it's first come, first serve, so booking it well in advance would be to their advantage... especially if it's for a DJ that they specifically want.

— For me specifically, about 15 to 20 a month.

— ABSOLUTELY! I wouldnt want to be doing anything else. How I went from doing house parties to having over a dozen DJ's in my roster with all our wedding planners, photographers, caterers, all these people get together, we have a great time, and we make people happy.

There is nothing more than seeing a crowd of people react and cheer because of something I did, or having a bride and groom come up to me after the reception and say that I made their night, there is absolutely nothing more rewarding than that.
